What Gabrielle Loved about your listing
“From the get go Sue was the ultimate in hosts. We first had our trip booked in May and unfortunatley one of our dogs became very sick, Sue was very understanding and allowed up to postpone. Sue is wonderful at replying to you, always prompt and ready to answer any questions you may have. We checked in to find a welcome note on a blackboard, with scooby doo treats for the dogs, pancake mix, lemon and sugar on the counter, this made you instantly feel like you are welcome. The unit has everything you could wish for and is beautifully appointed with wall hangings and knick knacks, it has a great back yard for the dogs to play in and is very safe. The weather was howling with wind and rain the entire week but this did not have an impact on us. We put the rain jackets on and took the dogs walking to Stumers Creek and drove to North Beach Mudjimba where we walked in torrential rain. The unit felt like home as soon as we walked in, we cooked up some great meals and snuggled in watching Netflix, reading and sleeping. Our dogs immediately felt at home and slept on the sofa with the dog blankets Sue provided. We loved our holiday and will be back. We highly recommend Puppies, Pushies and Pancakes for your next holiday with your beloved fur babies. Thank you Sue.”

We
can see why Sue and Mark are superhosts. Great and prompt
communication, helpful, non intrusive, approachable. This is a well
appointed and well maintained spacious property with a real beachy feel
and a lovely sea breeze. There has clearly been alot of thought put into
the detail. Sue and Mark have a good understanding of what guests would
like or need. If you forgot to pack something (including dog supplies),
don't worry, it will be there. The property is located in a beautiful
part of the Sunshine Coast. Very relaxing surrounds with an option of
simply doing nothing or exploring a variety of beaches, activities and
sights. The nearby off leash dog area at the beach was perfect for both
our dog and our daughter. A special mention to Cindy for the excellent
level of cleanliness. Thank you for a great stay.

What  Lisa  loved about your listing
Sue is a very caring host with attention to detail. Even though we didn't get to meet her we felt very supported by her txt messages. She checked in with us to make sure everything was okay and suggested places to visit. The apartment had everything we needed. Fresh bread and fruit loaf and milk made our early evening arrival so much better. A coffee machine was an extra touch. The place was clean and close to everything. We didn't use the bikes but we thought it was a great extra for anyone wanting to ride around. We cannot say enough about our great experience there

Sue & Mark's place is an absolute gem & epitomises what I
believe Airbnb is all about! Coolum Beach is a very friendly part of the
Sunshine Coast with a gorgeous beach & off-leash dog area to boot. I
loved lounging on the back patio (think comfy egg chairs!) in the
morning sun with a good book (there is a small library provided!) &
my cuppa! The place is totally dog friendly with a well-fenced yard,
doggie bowls & even a treat on arrival - I'm sure my pooch had just
as lovely a stay as I did:)

What Sue loved about your listing:
Sue's an awesome host. She picked us up from the airport and dropped us at the bus station on leaving. The unit has everything you need including bikes, beach towels, condiments and those things you appreciate like cling wrap, foil, oil etc The bed is comfy. The unit is an easy flat 20 minute walk or five minute ride to shops, restaurants, supermarket and cafes etc. There are buses going north and south so it's easy to get around if you don't have a car.

What Meghan loved about your listing
Upon arrival, Sue made it completely clear that she had already made it
her mission to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We arrived early
morning from the United states, so we felt incredibly tired. Sue had
stocked the refrigerator with necessities and prepared a fruit bowl for
us to enjoy to provide time to settle in and begin our own adventures,
once rested.
Our experience only improved from here. Just a short walk from the Noosa
National Park and the beach, we had plenty to do from the get go. Yet
mountain bikes provided at the comfy flat allowed for even more
exploration, and being situated just off David Low Highway, (which is
bike friendly) we were able to make our way into Coolum and Peregian
Beach.
The flat itself is exactly how it's advertised. There exists ample
living space for two, as well as a covered table to enjoy meals outside.
The space does not have air conditioning, yet we were able to cool down
the space at night by leaving the windows open and keeping the fans
going. A washing machine is available, and while it took some time to do
all of our laundry, it didn't matter when we kept ourselves preoccupied
walking the beach or hiking up Emu Mountain. A clothes line provided
the means to dry our clothes, when needed.
Finally, you won't find better hosts than Sue and Mark. Cindy, the
resident who lives upstairs, also checked in regularly to make sure
everything was going smoothly. Sue and Mark busily worked on the space
next door, so we spent some time with them on the weekends (slowing
their construction progress, no doubt!) Yet I've never enjoyed a couple
more. Sue made sure our sugar and coffee supplies remained stocked, and
she went out of her way to familiarize us with the area and suggest
destinations to see during our stay. After our two weeks of pure
enjoyment and fun learning about the Sunshine Coast, Sue and Mark hosted
a barbie so we could taste some "roo" kabobs and sausages. Yet what I
remember most from the wonderful meal and evening was the conversation
and the joviality among everyone. It seemed as though in the two short
weeks we stayed with them, we had become good friends.
In conclusion, consider these wonderful hosts for your next trip to this
area. You won't arrive disappointed, nor leave that way, either.

What Kay loved about your listing
After a long drive it was absolutely wonderful to open the front door of
this little gem. So spotlessly clean, so beautifully and thoughtfully
planned out. The host had thought of everything, from food in the fridge
and pantry to beach towels, lovely linen, a super comfy bed and
everything you need in a kitchen...too much to list here as the list
goes on and on. Whenever I stay at an AIRBNB I seem to come across
bigger and better, but what Sue and Mark provide is indeed very touching
and much appreciated..and once sgain bigger and better !!
Their friendly and caring nature makes you feel more than just an
AIRBNB guest....yes they are two very special people who know the
meaning of sharing and caring. Oh and their two little doggies, such a
joy.
Sue and Mark, thank you for
letting us be a part of your world and enjoying true hospitality....We
will certainly be back xxx

What Cory loved about your listing
Wow!!!! What a great place and one that is the true meaning of dog
friendly. The house is immaculately presented and fully fenced. Our
furry friends even had a treat waiting for them. Sue and Cindy made us
feel truely welcome and were easily contactable if we needed anything.
Excellent value for money.....would highly recommend....and if we get
back to the Sunshine coast it will be a no brainer.

What Mark loved about your listing
We arrived at the unit and immediately were impressed by the cleanliness
and wonderful 'homey' feel it had. There were ingredients waiting for
us to make pancakes and a note on a blackboard welcoming us. The unit
was ultra clean and beautifully styled. We immediately felt relaxed.
The area itself had many great restaurants to try as well as plenty of
walking tracks to explore. Most importantly for us for this trip, our
furkids were catered for exceptionally well. There were treats waiting
for them on arrival and a cupboard dedicated to their well being with
bowls, shampoo and a lead. There was also a chest of towels and blankets
especially for our boys. The best bit for them I think was having the
off lead dog beach so close. They got to go for a walk every day. Sue
kept in touch to make sure we were happy and didn't need anything. All
together it was an awesome stay, we couldn't have asked for anything
more. We'll definitely be back soon.

What Sarah loved about your listing
Sue is a wonderful host, who genuinely loves her place and wants you to
enjoy it too. She was very friendly and accomodating with check in and
check out, giving us an early check in as no one had stayed the night
beforehand. It is a wonderful place to stay, even more so if you have
pets. You can walk into Coolum or jump on their bikes and ride in. We
can't wait to go back and stay again. Highly recommended.

What Jillian loved about your listing
This apartment was absolutely beautiful!! It is so bright and spacious
and well decorated. We loved that we could walk to the beach and it was
central to many areas of the Sunshine Coast. Great shops and
restaurants not far away, and Noosa was 10 minutes away. The amenities
were superb and well thought out. The bed was very comfortable and all
other possible things you would need were supplied...shampoo and soap
for example. Plus pancakes! We will definitely stay again given the
opportunity.

What  Denise loved about your listing
Sue, Mark and Cindy were great hosts. Although we didn't get to meet
them communication was only a very quick email away. Excellent
communication,
The flat is very clean and tidy and they have thought of everything a
traveller appreciates. Bread and milk and cereal if you arrive hungry
from an early or late flight. Cooking oil and condiments of all sorts.
Also tea and coffee.
A great manual is supplied for the flat and lots of local info. Lovely
bed linen and bath towels. The flat was extremely comfortable and we
would stay there again.
